Like to experiment and build antennas and transformers. QRV on 160-6 meters, VHF/UHF analog and DMR from home, car mobile and campervan mobile.
Main rig for shortwave voice: Icom IC-7300, Sotabeams contest console
Main rig for 2m/70cm voice and digimodes sw/vhf/uhf: Yaesu FT-991, external keypad FH-2
Campervan mobile rig. Yaesu FT-857D with ATU-100 autotuner, diplexer for 2 antennas
Mobile rig: TYT TH-9800H 12m-70cm incl. air, diplexer for 2 antennas
QRP rig: RS-918 SDR transceiver
Handheld and DMR: Anytone D878-UV, mmdvm single hotspot
SDR: RTL.SDR, HDSDR, SDR tx/rx switch
new, interesting and surprisingly good value toy: RS-918 (clone of the MCHF)
Antennas currently in use:
– Stockcorner JC-4s with 25m horizontal wire (A) and 10.5m vertical wire (B)
– DIY horizontal 11m wire antenna with 1:9 unun, primarely for RX but also can TX
– DIY flowerpot antenna for 2m+70cm
Other antennas, currently not in use:
– Horizontal multiband endfed antenna (acc. PD7MAA) ~23m with extension coil, 1:64 unun with FT240, 3D printed box
– Vertical coaxial J-pole antenna with RG62/93Ohm matching part (less matching loss) for 10-12 meter band
– Vertical endfed antenna for 10-12 meter band, 1:64 unun with FT140, 3D printed box
